The City of Newburgh will prepare project construction documents for the Newburgh Landing Pier, including demolition of the existing pier and construction of a new pier with two extensions to accommodate large cruise ships and provide for transient mooring on the Hudson River. The project will advance the City's Local Waterfront Revitalization Program, lead to improved economic development and create a regional asset as Newburgh is the only deepwater port between New York City and Albany.
