The Genomics Research Lab Cluster will occupy 8,000 sq. ft. within the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences located in Gosnell Hall on the RIT campus. RIT is requesting $2 million in support of an overall project of $10 million to acquire state-of-the-art equipment for multiple labs. The Genomics Research Lab Cluster will support increased faculty research in the life sciences, enable increased enrollment capacity in the university academic degree programs in the life sciences, and lead to graduates with cutting edge skill sets for the region and the state, and workforce development opportunities for life science companies.
