The project will construct a 300 seat conference center at the Hampton Inn, 110 Mace Street, Penn Yan. The facility will be improved with a new banquet kitchen, separate lounge/bar with bar kitchen, and additional parking. The project will result in approximately 30 construction jobs and will create 20 new FTE jobs within two years.[/div] [br /][br /] [div]The facility will create a world-class business conference center with high-speed internet and state-of-the-art teleconferencing equipment. The room , divisible into smaller sections and complimented by another 100 seat meeting room will attract visitors from outside the local market. Target marketing areas will include Albany, Buffalo, Erie, Cleveland, Pittsburg, Boston and Toronto. Conference business from outside the area will increase room-night stays at the applicant’s hotel as well as other area businesses.[/div] [br /][br /] [div]The proposed facility improvements will create a year round destination. Glass walls on the banquet center will open on two sides allowing guests to be served inside and out.
