Long Island University Nursing Skills Lab Expansion

[p]Long Island University s School of Health Professions and Nursing (LIU Post, Brookville) is developing an Interprofessional Skills Lab (ISL) and an Image Replication Lab (IRL) adjacent to the Interprofessional Simulation Center and Medical Imaging Laboratory in Pell Hall rooms 242 and 152, to provide effective facilities to develop psychomotor skills and improve clinical expertise of LIU Post graduates. The ISL and IRL will improve the development and mastery of student psychomotor skills for integration and application of knowledge to skills for safe patient care. LIU graduates will be more employable and better able to serve high need communities and vulnerable populations. The ISL and IRL will attract marginal student to provide additional learning and remediation opportunities for diverse student success. [/
