The Livingston County Public Market ("LCPM") design/build on ~10 ac. of County land. Key components: 1) Public Market building for tenant restaurants, craft brewers, artisanal food products and local artists arts and crafts, 2) Culinary innovation ; Business Dev t center for entrepreneurial business training for residents who want to start their own food/ag business. 3) Enclosed shed for farmers to sell their home-grown products, 4) Community Public Health training facility for presentations on nutrition, mental health, etc. Expected outcomes: build multiple-use destination to serve Livingston Cty. residents, farmers, entrepreneurs, tourist and visitors, and create targeted training and educational programs for new entrepreneurial ventures, provide specialized food/ag training to create a hub of economic activity for the FL region. Deliverables: increased visibility ; awareness of the rich agricultural heritage and scenic attractiveness of the area to translate this vision into a robust economy for Livingston County. In addition to new businesses, new jobs, and new tax revenue, the Public Market will strengthen the “sense of place� and pride in what the region has to offer
