The Albany Symphony will utilize the tourism marketing funds to promote a new event the “Freedom Road NY Festival: A Celebration of Black History”. This inclusive, free arts festival, with curated cultural heritage experiences and festive all-day events will draw thousands of visitors and residents alike, telling stories of brave New Yorkers who broke barriers and fought for racial justice.
