In downtown Richfield Springs, the adaptive-reuse project will preserve, decarbonize, and revitalize a vacant 19th-century bank building. Reimagined as “The Bank Loft,� the landmark will provide apartments and ground floor retail space in a beautifully restored carbon neutral building that will meet rigorous Phius+ 2021 Core standards. The Bank Loft will serve as a replicable model for the decarbonization of historic buildings—multiplying its environmental and economic impact.
