Expanding Renewable Energy & Electrification Manufacturing in CNY

Advanced Motors & Drives (AMD) is looking to expand it manufacturing capabilities by adding two new assembly lines and upgrading its current facilities.The project will be implemented in its East Syracuse, NY facility.  The project will be broken down to three phases: Phase 1: Add new assembly line for new technology windpitch motor. Phase 2: Upgrade existing facility infrastructure. Phase 3: Add new assembly line for new generation large traction motors. Phases 1 & 3 will require purchase a several pieces of capital equipment, which will purchased from domestic suppliers.  Phase 2 would require local CNY contractors for facilities upgrades.  There would also be a building expansion / construction project as part of Phase 3. There expected outcome from the completion of the three phases would be the installation of new, state of the art assembly cells that would allow AMD to continue to maintain its manufacturing presence in CNY.
