IDEX is contemplating a new expansion to build out and equip additional manufacturing lines in its existing footprint of the Center of Excellence, located at 1180 John Street, West Henrietta, New York. The plan being considered will include approx. $9 million of investment in constructing a 10,000 SF cleanroom, and an additional $11 million in manufacturing equipment – total investment of $20 million over the next 2-3 years. In addition, IDEX conservatively estimates the creation of 57 full-time jobs at the John Street location over the same horizon. The cleanroom space is critical to all business lines at the location- Filters, Optical Systems and Optical Technologies. Each business line is expected to continue growth at a double digit pace commensurate with market sizing and desirable customer offerings. The main equipment drivers within the cleanroom relate to the filters business.
