Building 19 - Nolan Park Cultural Campus

The Nolan Park Cultural Campus involves the phased redevelopment of 15 former military officers’ houses for year-round use by a mix of NY cultural orgs. Once renovated, the historic homes will provide space for cultural orgs to use for year-round exhibitions, offices, studios, residencies, and free public programming. The project will create space allowing for cross-collaboration and public engagement, offering 150,000 SF of affordable, turn-key interior space for up to 25 non-profit cultural orgs hosting up to 200 individual artists. The Trust will continue to the cultural campus project renovation of Building 19 into two commercial suites totaling approximately 10K gross square feet, with the goal of delivering the building to tenants in late 2024.The Trust is proposing to lease one suite to the American Indian Community House (AICH), a community-based organization with a mission to improve and promote the well-being of the American Indian Community and to increase the visibility of their cultures in an urban setting. The Trust will work to identify a second tenant for the other suite via expanded outreach and/or request for proposals.
