Kingston Point Wetland Restoration and Public Access Improvements
The City of Kingston will restore wetlands and construct a public access point to the water at the confluence of the Rondout Creek and Hudson River. The project will advance the goals of the City's Local Waterfront Revitalization Program by enhancing resiliency and providing access to a unique riverine habitat. Work includes demolition of two condemned City-owned houses in the flood zone and construction of a small parking area, a boardwalk, and pier with educational interpretive signage.
