The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County will construct a new Dynamic Learning Center in East Meadow to host year round educational programs for youth and adults in the areas of horticulture, environmental sustainability, energy education, and food systems. The building is to be constructed of decommissioned shipping containers with a goal of net-zero energy.
