The Trail Conference will use funding to construct a Learning Pavilion at Welch Trail Education Center, a historic group camp in Harriman State Park they have restored in collaboration with Palisades Interstate Park Commission. The camp provides housing for Conservation Corps members who maintain trails, remove invasive species and provide vital land stewardship in New York State parks. The Pavilion will be a central gathering point to train and educate Corps members, volunteers, and the public.
