The project entails providing $300,000 in state funding to assist Saratoga County, Washington County and the Historic Saratoga-Washington on the Hudson Partnership in meeting the local match of an approved Transportation Enhancement Program (TEP) grant project in the amount of $2.45 million for the rehabilitation of a 426 ft. long, three-span High Warren truss bridge built in 1900 over the Hudson River near Champlain Canal Lock 5 which connects Saratoga and Washington counties. The bridge, located at Hudson Crossing Park Lock C5 is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and would be part of the NYS Canalway Trail to be used for various multi-modal recreational uses.
