Exterior Restoration of Rice House and Rice House Annex

Built in the style of 16th century palazzos, the Albany Institute of History & Art?s (AIHA) Rice House and Rice House Annex have a façade of yellow brick with unusually fine mortar joints and an elaborate embellished cornice. This restoration project will prevent the brick, cornice and flashing from all reaching a critical deteriorated state, ensuring future generations have access to this tangible piece of Albany?s history.
