Broome-Tioga Board of Cooperative Educational Services will train 20 long-term unemployed workers as nursing assistants including communication, infection control, personal care, human sexuality, nutrition and diet therapy, elimination procedures, lifting/moving/transporting, assisting with admissions/transfers/discharges/physical exams, pre- and post-operative care, circulatory and respiratory care, life changes and adaptations, and supervised clinical experience.
