Campus Center Expansion Green Infrastructure

The University at Albany will use GIGP funds to go above beyond their permit requirements and install pervious pavement, rain gardens, and a green roof as part of their Campus Center Expansion Project. The inclusion of these green practices will reduce stormwater runoff, combat heat island effect, and conserve energy, ultimately helping the Campus Center Expansion Project achieve a LEED Gold rating.
