Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council and Mohawk Valley Economic Development District to Hold Series of Public Outreach Meetings Across Region
The Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council (MVREDC) today announced that it will partner with the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District (MVEDD) to hold a series of public sessions as part of its plan for continued communications to the public regarding the Council’s activities and strategic plan.
The MVREDC’s Outreach Committee has scheduled three public sessions across the region to provide an overview of the Council’s One Year Progress Report, which was recently submitted to New York State for the second round of the Regional Council initiative. The MVEDD will also be present in order to receive input on its regional strategy (CEDS). The CEDS is a requirement of the federal Economic Development Administration.
The schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, October 10: Milford School (Otsego & Schoharie Counties)
- Thursday, October 11: Ilion High School (Herkimer & Oneida Counties)
- Tuesday, October 16: Fonda-Fultonville Central School (Fulton & Montgomery counties)
All meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. and those wishing to attend are requested to please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.For those who attend, MVEDD will provide handouts which include its goals, work program and a review of regional economic development milestones over the previous year.
