The North Country Regional Economic Development Council (NCREDC) is dedicated to economic development in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties.

Governor Hochul Announces $200 Million in Funding Available for Downtown Revitalization Initiative and NY Forward Programs

Together, the two programs have awarded $1 billion in funding to 124 communities across every region of the State since 2016. Applications are available through the State’s Consolidated Funding Application Portal beginning at 4:30 p.m. on August 6. The deadline to apply is October 18, 2024, at 4 p.m.

The Project Tracking Dashboard provides information on previously funded CFA Projects. This interactive tool allows for summarization and analysis of all project data. Fast NY Shovel-Ready Grant Program

Under New York’s FAST NY Shovel-Ready Grant Program, Empire State Development will provide up to $200 million in grants to prepare and develop sites statewide to jumpstart New York’s shovel-readiness and increase its attractiveness to large employers.

Workforce Development Grant Programs

ESD’s Office of Strategic Workforce Development will provide $150 million to support employer-driven, high-skilled workforce training programs.
