The North Country Regional Economic Development Council (NCREDC) is dedicated to economic development in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties.

Governor Hochul Announces $60 Million Restore New York Program

The Restore New York Communities Initiative (“Restore NY”) provides municipalities with financial assistance for the revitalization of commercial and residential properties. The program encourages community development and neighborhood growth through the elimination and redevelopment of blighted structures.

Intent to Apply Form Due: Monday, March 25, 2024, by 5:00pm EST - ATTENTION: No application will be accepted unless the Intent to Apply form has been submitted.

Final Application Due: Wednesday, May 22, 2024, by 3:00pm EST

Round XIII Consolidated Funding Application

The Consolidated Funding Application remains open for some programs, including ESD's Capital Grant Program, and will continue to accept applications.

Fast NY Shovel-Ready Grant Program

Under New York’s FAST NY Shovel-Ready Grant Program, Empire State Development will provide up to $200 million in grants to prepare and develop sites statewide to jumpstart New York’s shovel-readiness and increase its attractiveness to large employers.

Workforce Development Grant Programs

ESD’s Office of Strategic Workforce Development will provide $150 million to support employer-driven, high-skilled workforce training programs.

New York Forward
