Cornell University CHESS
Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source, or CHESS, is undertaking capital improvements which will lead to the creation of 100 new jobs and place them among the five premier facilities in the world.
Corning Incorporated will manufacture its new pharmaceutical packaging line, Corning Valor Glass, in the Southern Tier. The $95.5M project will create 185 jobs in the region by 2020.
The Greater Binghamton Fund aims to transform targeted urban centers, or "iDistricts," in Binghamton, Johnson City, and Endicott into communities where the next generation of workers want to live, work, and play.
